Judaism is considered to be the world's first monotheistic religion.
From God's covenant with Abraham to the 10 commandments received by
Moses, Judaism set the stage for many religions, based on One GOD, to be introduced to the western civilization.
From Persecution from the Pharaoh, to almost complete destruction from Hitler during WWII, to their eventual formation of their own Jewish state in Israel, the Jewish peoples and their traditions have survived the tests of time.
Today only 20 million Jews exist-still passing on their traditions and beliefs to their children-despite some of the
atrocities that have be-fallen "God's chosen People."
Israel and the U.S. are where the majority of the Jewish peoples live today.
