It feels so good to express yourself- Be creative-smile-laugh-love-play- But above all ,give thanks to the powers that be- And believe in yourself-cause I believe in you!!!! The Delilama Has Spoken

About 5 years ago I seriously started (pre-internet days!) my own search for truth and meaning in the universe, when actually it was truth and meaning of ME, for me .It seems our own isolation sometimes causes in one "the need to belong"-trying to find that group that makes one feel that they are part of something-not alone in this unusual experience of being human!

I firmly believed, that changing by my involvements, joining spiritual groups, becoming a vegetarian, reading all the right books, meditating 3 times a day, growing my hair long, etc...would change my life, and dramatically. Not that those things weren't beneficial for me, but I was looking in the wrong place.
I really wasn't looking in the mirror-the reflection of my own soul.

What was learned

One of my greatest influences was/is J.Krishnamurti.

I guess his writings instilled in myself, that following a Guru, doing special practices, was OK, but not necessarily the path to Self Knowledge and the understandings I was looking for. That most of our lives are really not in "The here-and-now", but really a constant reaction of automation based on PAST experiences. The ability to feel the moment as it is, and let each experience be new, was a new concept for me.

I started to learn to express my thoughts and feelings in ,not only in a more open and honest manner, but to trust in myself as a Unique and loving individual, that has much to give, and not to worry so much in other peoples behaviors. To not take everything so personally, but also to realize, that every moment is a chance to learn, grow, and experience the incredible diversity this LIFE has to offer!

So here I am, married to a great and special woman, connecting with many new people all the time, and realizing that I don't need to have the answers to all of life's mysteries, just let your heart and love lead the way! (but it sure is fun exploring all the possibilities!)

I made this page, and all the others in DELILAMA'S REALM, as a way to express my interests, share some of the unique schools of religion, and thought, in an interesting and fun way (I hope you liked it)-and just to enjoy being creative with html and my WEBTV. I found that it can be hard to find what you are looking for on the WWW-so I included links that hopefully give one a good general overview on the religions and philosophies that I have-webbed about!
