Cloning Your Mac Address for Linksys Routers - Page Two

This part of the tutorial assumes that you have gone to this web based utilty before. If not ,there will be a beginners tutorial for this in the future-but your manual will explain how to do this also.

Launch Internet Explorer,and hit the escape key 3 times
to stop the browser from "trying" to open a page.

Erase the URL in the address bar, and type 192.168.1.1 and hit enter.
This should give you the username and password prompt
to enter the Linksys web based utility.

Admin will still be the default password, nothing for username.

This first screen is SETUP
Hit the Orange Tab
to the far right
that says ADVANCED

This screen shot will vary
depending on what firmware version
your router is using

This next screen is FILTERS
Hit the tab
To the far right that says:
Mac Addr Clone -

Now you are at
The Mac Address Clone page.

Replace the zeros with
the numbers you wrote down
as explained in page 1.

Hit apply, it will say settings successful and continue.

It is possible that now you are set to go on the Internet.Try Launching another Browser window to verify-if not go to Page 3
